Buena Park, Calif. – As part of its plan to address homelessness in the community, the Buena Park City Council announces the creation of the Bright Paths program. Bright Paths brings the necessary resources and partnerships together to help the homeless graduate from the street and into permanent housing.
In addition, Bright Paths provides the tools to educate local residents, businesses, and faith-based organizations about homelessness and the resources readily available to empower these groups to help decrease homelessness in their neighborhoods.
“We are excited to have a program in place to strategically undertake this important issue,” said Virginia Vaughn, Council Member. “My colleagues on city council and the community realize the impacts homelessness has had on our city. The Bright Paths program outlines the steps, resources, and more importantly, the solutions to helping decrease homelessness in our community.”
